When I was a kid, I was lucky enough to have a bed frame and chest of drawers that my grandpa had built for my dad when he was my age. I still have that bed frame and chest of drawers, and I’m hopeful I’ll be able to pass them down to my own child someday, when the time comes.As a young adult, I followed the trend of going to IKEA, Fred Meyer, or Target to pick up whatever home furnishings I needed. But soon, I realized that things weren’t being built the way they used to be. They were no longer made to last.Van Blaricom Woodworks was born from that realization and my desire to build something better than what was being offered by the big-box stores. What started as a fun hobby to keep me busy on weekends and in the mornings before work (working swing shift definitely has its perks!) has now grown into a business where I get to work with individuals, businesses, and families who need something special for their home or place of business. I’m grateful to help fulfill that need.I’d love for you to reach out and talk to me about what you're looking for. If I can make it happen, I’ll let you know.
